'Drawing a Better World', a contest on the occasion of Climate Day

This initiative aims to educate, motivate and educate minors about the importance and reality of climate change and is promoted by Hidralia and the San Fernando City Council.

Next May 15 is World Climate Action Day and International Family Day, which is why the City of San Fernando and Hidralia (the company responsible for the city's Water and Sewerage Service) promote the contest. 'Drawing a Better World'. An initiative that aims to educate, motivate and educate minors about the importance and reality of climate change.

This contest is aimed at students in Early Childhood Education, Primary, Specific Classrooms and Special Education Centers. The work to be done will consist of a creative drawing in which, after reflecting on the changes we are perceiving in the climate, it shows what we can do to fight climate change and take care of the environment, improving the current world.

In this way, the originality and technique of the works presented will be assessed, establishing different age groups from 3 to 12 years. The drawings must be made on white cardboard with A4 size and with free technique. They must include the name, surname and age of the minor in the front of the drawing.

The form of presentation of the works will be telematic through the contest banner that can be found on the website of the San Fernando City Council (www.sanfernando.es) indicating the file in the following ways ‘AgeName Firstname Lastname’ and ‘CEENnameLastname’.

The presentation period opens until next Saturday, May 9 and there will be two prizes and one mention for each category. The ruling will be announced on May 15, coinciding with the World Climate Action Day and the International Day of Families.
