Start 'You Take It', an environmental video contest that seeks to boost the care of the ecosystem
Hidralia and the Aquae Foundation organize this contest whose deadline to participate ends on May 25 and that has a prize of 500 euros for the best video
Hidralia and its foundation, the Aquae Foundation, are firmly committed to moving towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly model and convinced that "this generation is still in time to make peace with nature", so they launch the 'You Take It' video contest. A contest open to all audiences in which, through videos of one minute, participants transmit how they care for, restore and respect the environment in their day to day.
With this initiative, the Foundation pursues a threefold objective: to raise public awareness of the importance of taking care of our environmental environment, to convey among the different generations the message that it is in our hands to change the future of the planet, and to spread World Environment Day, which is celebrated around the world on June 5th and whose motto this year is the Restoration of ecosystems.
Thus, until May 25, anyone will be able to present up to three original videos, up to one minute long, that must address the planet's environmental situation, show ideas and advice that can help save it and/or reflect the concrete actions that each applicant takes to contribute to a healthy and future environment.
Improving the planet and its environment in the citizen field is not only recycling, it also has an impact on the consumption of water that we make, what we eat and buy, how we move or heat our homes, and many other decisions, large or small, that influence the environment and our health. With these videos Hidralia and Aquae want to "open a communication channel with citizens, give them a showcase to show us how we can contribute in the day to day to achieve cleaner air and water, reduce waste, or make use of sustainable food...".
A jury of experts in the field will be in charge of evaluating the videos that attend and choosing the winner of this first edition of 'You take it'. The author of the best video, to be unveiled on June 5, World Environment Day, will receive a prize of 500 euros in cash.
Hidralia and Aquae launch this call coinciding with the beginning of the United Nations Decade which begins officially in 2021. The foundations of the new Aquae contest and the participation form can be found on the Foundation's website.
