In Manilva, the Aqualogía programme raised the awareness of 200 schoolchildren on the responsible use of drinking water

A total of 200 third-year primary school students from the Pablo Picasso, Maicandil, and San Luis de Sabinillas de Manilva schools (Málaga) participated in various sessions as part of the Aqualogía programme. The aim of these sessions was to reinforce water-saving habits and the idea of responsibly consuming and using this resource.

The objective of this activity is to raise schoolchildren’s awareness of the importance of water and the environment, and to teach them about the natural and urban water cycle, through interactive games.

As a complementary activity to the Aqualogía campaign, the project includes a competition of drawings and slogans relating to responsible use of water and the environment. The winner will be awarded a cheque for a hundred euros that can only be exchanged for school material. The winning drawing and slogan will be used on the Aqualogía education programme’s posters for the next academic year in the winning town. The poster announcing this edition of Aqualogía in Manilva was created by a student from CEIP Maicandil school, who was the winner last year.
