Hidralia launches the 'Without water, life is complicated' campaign to promote responsible water consumption

In his different messages he wants to show how difficult it would be to carry out daily tasks in the face of a possible lack of water

Hidralia, an Andalusian environmental company that is in charge of comprehensive water management, has launched the 'Life is complicated without water' campaign to promote responsible water consumption in the face of the water scarcity situation that is intensifying in Andalusia.

The messages of this campaign, which are mainly based on very illustrative images, focus on showing daily tasks that would be practically impossible to carry out in the absence of water. This is the case of cooking a plate of pasta, putting on the washing machine, showering or taking a bath in a pool and always accompanied by the slogan of the campaign 'Without water, life is complicated' to reinforce the idea.

These direct messages are accompanied by a series of specific tips to save water that are divided into different rooms and common day-to-day situations. Thus, in the kitchen recommendations are collected such as turning off the tap while soaping the dishes, putting the dishwasher on when it is fully loaded or rinsing the fruit in a container.

For the bathroom, it is indicated not to have the tap open while brushing the teeth, to collect water in a container while the water is being heated to use it for irrigation or to install economizing systems. In the garden, check for possible leaks, avoid using the hose to clean and choose to sweep or avoid watering during the sunniest hours so that there is no evaporation.

Finally. In the pool, the need to cover it to avoid evaporation is exposed, to have adequate maintenance so that it does not get lost or to install automatic push buttons if there are outdoor showers.

The campaign will be disseminated through different posters, advertisements and informative video mainly through Social Networks and the media.

This campaign picks up the baton from 'The Value of Water', carried out last year, in which an attempt was made to quantify in bottles what it means to flush the chain or wash your hands, and is part of a global image called 'Hidralia, #TransformamoselplanetaAgua' with which we try to value everything that is done from Hidralia in Innovation, digital transformation, its advances in Circular Economy, its determination to achieve carbon neutrality and its search for pacts and alliances with the purpose of complying with the Sustainable Development Goals and the UN 2030 Agenda.
