Hidralia participates in the III Forum Recycling and Circular Economy

The director of Sustainable Development and Innovation of Hidralia, Gustavo Calero, has participated in the III Forum on Recycling and Circular Economy that once again organizes El Español, also counting on the Ecolec and Signus Foundation. On the table, key issues for the future of the circular economy, a key point in the competitiveness of companies.

Calero has highlighted the company's trajectory in projects that are committed to environmental innovation, many of them awarded internationally as the work of the Biofactoría Sur de Granada. This has reduced the CO2 they generate by up to 90% and also commits to a change in traditional treatment plants, reaching 97% of sludge, sand and grease in composting, road slopes and other forms.

In addition, other achievements of Suez, the parent company of Hidralia, in the circular economy, have also been highlighted in this Forum. Thus, Calero has set an example of the use of regenerated water in Alicante plants to irrigate nursery gardens. "It is impossible to separate the circular economy from innovation".
