Hidralia presents its commitment to the circular economy in a conference organized by NESI Global

The Director of Sustainable Development, Gustavo Calero, has participated in this debate before the 'Global Forum of the New Economy and Social Innovation'

A response to the need to change the productive model. This is how the birth of the circular economy has been explained by the Director of Sustainable Development of Hidralia, Gustavo Calero, in the days that NESI Global Forum has organized in Malaga. These have analyzed the challenges and opportunities of the circular economy and the future of work from the point of view of innovation in this Andalusian province. These days precede the 'Global Forum of the New Economy and Social Innovation', which will be held from 24 to 26 April also in Malaga.

Gustavo Calero, Director of Sustainable Development of Hidralia, participates in the debate organized by NESI Global.

In one of his interventions, Calero wanted to point out that without the emergence of innovative solutions, whether in design, management or production, this change in production and work "would be impossible". It is at this point precisely where the work of Hidralia has stood out, a company that has "for many years committed to integrate the concept of circular economy in an intelligent, efficient, innovative and sustainable management of water resources".

In this forum, the experience of Hidralia when recharging aquifers with surplus rainwater, the generation of green energy from water or the transformation of sewage treatment plants into energy self-sufficient biofactories, has been used as an example. They value one hundred percent of the waste generated in the process and reuse 100% of the treated water.

Finally, the founder and director of NESI, Diego Isabel, wanted to highlight the opportunity that is offered to companies and society of Malaga to know the opportunities offered by the circular economy, as well as the promotion of the incorporation of innovative processes in the management of local entities "to improve their social and environmental impact".
