Hidralia reaffirms its commitment to the social causes of the Cruz Roja in Roquetas de Mar

Both entities reinforce initiatives aimed at aiding families and the Food Bank following the cancellation of solidaries acts by the Coronavirus.

Hidralia, a company that is responsible for the integral management of water in Roquetas de Mar, signed last February a collaboration agreement with the Cruz Roja of the locality committing to cooperate with the entity for the celebration of different events such as the Solidarity Race 'Cross Color', the Soho flea market or the Food Bank.

Now the manager of Hidralia, José Luis Trapero, and the president of The Red Cross in Roquetas, Lina María Espinosa Fuentes, have ratified this agreement with changes in the destination of the money, so that those that were to be destined for actions that have been suspended, as a result of the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, can be used to strengthen the organization's initiatives for the promotion of direct aid to families.

This is the case of the 'Cross Color' Solidarity Race, one of the most popular solidarity initiatives from those developed by the Red Cross, which has had to be cancelled with the aim of safeguarding people's health. 

In addition, Hidralia's commitment to provide financial aid to the Cruz Roja Food Bank, one of the resources used most by people at risk of social exclusion, by providing them with basic necessities. This year is expected to be a complicated campaign due to the social emergency generated by the health pandemic.

In this way, Hidralia affects one of its axes of action, within the municipalities in which it manages the water service, such as its social responsibility, the development of the local community and investment in social initiatives.
