The ‘Red Cross Responds’ campaign supported by Hidralia gets 3,000 euros to assist vulnerable people

Hidralia has donated one euro for each user who has registered digitally on its website

Hidralia, an Andalusian company that manages the integral water cycle, will contribute about 3,049 euros to the 'Red Cross Responds' initiative, a comprehensive plan launched by the humanitarian entity to assist people in vulnerable situations due to the COVID-19 pandemic . It was last May when Hidralia joined this solidarity project, committing itself to allocate one euro for each user of the service who registered in the ‘Customer Area’ of its website.

Once the campaign was completed, exactly 3,049 customers have signed up for this digital service, which allows users to consult their invoices and carry out all their procedures in an agile, comfortable and safe way, without leaving home.

Thanks to this initiative, Hidralia will do its bit to this National Red Cross Campaign, whose objective is to assist more than 1,350,000 people and mobilize more than 40,000 volunteers through its more than 1,400 points of care.

According to the estimates made by the Red Cross, with every 80 euros contributed, the basic food, hygiene and household needs of a family of two are covered for a week. Therefore, what is contributed by Hidralia will serve to serve around 37 families.

Companies participated by Hidralia have also joined this initiative, such as Agua de Benahavís, which has also contributed one euro for each digital customer registered in this period, or Aguasvira, which directly donated 2,000 euros to collaborate with this solidarity campaign. At Emasagra, the Red Cross Campaign is still active and until December for each new client that registers on its website, one euro will be allocated to ‘Red Cross Responds’.
