La Carlota calls to encourage savings in the face of the possible application of restrictive measures

The Consistory specifies the need to achieve a 10% saving to prevent measures such as the night cut off of the water supply from being carried out

The La Carlota City Council, as stated in a municipal edict, calls on the population to maximize the actions to save drinking water and thus be able to avoid the implementation of restrictive measures in the municipality.

The Consistory exposes the need to achieve 10% water savings, since due to the current scarcity of resources in the water supply, the supply that reaches the town has been reduced. Added to the above is the estimate of high consumption peaks, due to the summer season, which can be intensified during weekends, and which directly affect the La Carlota water tanks, which now need more time to recover.

In this way, the City Council specifies, on its own side, that in the event that the minimum capacity of these deposits is exhausted, then supply cuts must be carried out to guarantee their filling and therefore the service of water in the municipality. Some restrictions that, in the event that they are implemented, would be notified sufficiently in advance and would affect the night supplier.

That is why the City Council and Hidralia insist on the need to raise awareness about the need to save water in each of the daily actions of the day. To do this, we recommend making responsible use of water, following some simple saving tips.
