Cadiz Trade Confederation recognizes Hidralia for its environmental work

The entity receives the award in the category of Environmental Company Referent for its commitment to sustainability

The Association of Companies of the Environmental Sector of the province of Cadiz, (CEC ENVIRONMENT) has recognized Hidralia, an Andalusian water cycle management company, as 'Referring Environmental Company', for its commitment to sustainability, in the celebration of the first edition of its awards to individuals, companies and institutions for its work committed to the environment in the province of Cadiz.

In this way, Hidralia is recognized for her work in San Fernando, as a concessionaire of the management of the city's supply and sewerage, and its involvement to take care of the natural environment of the Parque de la Bahía de Cádiz. A work that it carries out through the efficiency and digitization of its activity, the development of its environmental awareness campaigns in the municipality and its social commitment to building alliances with entities in the area, based on criteria of Sustainable Development.

The director of Transformation and Sustainable Development of Hidralia, Gustavo Calero, was in charge of collecting this award, in an event attended by the company's manager, José Luis Trapero.

The awards also recognized in the same category the company Hermanos Padilla S.L.; in the category of 'Best Environmental Practices in the Productive Sector' to Dragados Offshore SA and CEPSA Refinería Gibraltar-San Roque; in that of 'Person of Recognized Prestige', Dr. José Luis García Morales, director of the Verinsur Chair of Environmental Research and Technology of the University of Cadiz and professor in the Department of Environmental Technologies of the University of Cadiz; and the Seprona as 'Entity or Institution in Defense of the Environment or Ambient Reference'.

The ceremony was attended by the president of the CEC, Javier Sánchez Rojas; the deputy delegate of the Government of the Junta de Andalucía in campo de Gibraltar, Eva Pajares; the territorial delegate of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Sustainable Development of the Junta de Andalucía in Cadiz, Daniel Sánchez Román; and the first vice president and head of the Strategic, Productive and Social Coordination and Development Area of the Provincial Council of Cadiz, José María Román Guerrero. These and other institutional and business representatives have accompanied the Vice President of CEC Environment, Alberto Brey, and the members of the Board of Directors in the first installment of these awards.
