ESO student Lucía Cazorla wins the IX Contest 'Smart Water Stories'

Hidralia and its associated companies intend with this award to contribute to the dissemination of water culture among young people

The story called 'Formula of Life' written by Lucía Cazorla from Huelva, has been awarded first prize in the IX Contest of 'Smart Water Stories', convened by Hidralia and its investee companies (Aguas de Benahavís, Aguas de Torremolinos, Aguas de Huelva, Aguasvira and Aguas de Montilla). The prize consists of an iPad Tablet, which will be given to a 4th ESO student from the Cardenal Spínola center in Huelva, who has obtained a new special mention for her high participation and stories submitted to the contest, being one of the most active centers with this initiative.


This year we must highlight the participation of other schools such as the Salesianos de Montilla school (Córdoba) or La Pusrísima de Santa Fe (Granada).


Aimed at young people between the ages of 12 and 16, this award aims to contribute to the dissemination of water culture in all the municipalities in which Hidralia and its associated companies operate, as well as encourage the participation of the youngest in the use sustainability of this resource through the literature. The jury, made up of journalists and writers related to the water sector, has highlighted the literary quality of the winning story, as well as its integration of the required aspects. The theme should focus on the importance of water in society and on the concept of a 'smart city'.
In total, more than 80 writings have been presented in a contest that grows every year and that will hold its tenth edition next year.
