Hidralia communicates that La Carlota will have water restrictions at night, starting this same night, due to the reduction of the water supply of the provincial network of Emproacsa in the municipal deposits.

The restrictions, which will begin tonight (August 4) will be made from 00:00 to 07:00 hours. And they will remain until the situation normalizes.

According to the City Council of La Carlota, on a municipal side, the continued drought situation together with the reduction of municipal supply derived from the problems in the high network of Emproacsa, which serves the municipalities of southern Córdoba from the Iznájar reservoir, has caused the need to implement night restrictions on the population.

Likewise, the Consistory has established the prohibition of carrying out different actions with drinking water such as the emptying of streets, public squares and facades, the cleaning of cars on public roads, the use of public and ornamental fountains, as well as the filling of swimming pools and the irrigation of gardens.

From the City Council and Hidralia an appeal is made to the population to raise awareness about the need to save water in each of the daily actions of the day to day, to help alleviate this situation.  It is recommended to make responsible use of water, avoiding that it is lost in daily tasks such as washing dishes, brushing teeth, optimizing discharges from bathrooms and cisterns and increasing surveillance and control of possible interior leaks and drips.
