San Fernando improves its sewer service with the renewal of part of its fleet

A new sanitation truck will improve the daily cleaning of the sewer network and the septic tanks of the beach

Hidralia, municipal water supply and sewerage company of San Fernando has renewed its fleet of vehicles with the addition of a new truck with mixed suction equipment (to collect sewage) and pressure (to drive clean water) for the maintenance of networks sanitation of the municipality. It can suck up to 8,000 cubic meters of sewage, including septic tanks from the beach, and boost 5,000 cubic meters of clean water to unclog or clean municipal networks.

The new truck will be incorporated into the fleet of vehicles destined to cleaning and unblocking pipes and pipelines. This will improve performance in this type of actions in the more than 197,000 meters of the San Fernando sewer network. A network, which is mapped in its entirety, through the GIS software application, which allows having a better control when it comes to programming the maintenance tasks of the network.
