Nineteen grants on offer for teachers to take part in a course run by the European Organization for Nuclear Research

Participants will attend classes and lectures, visit exhibitions and take part in workshops presenting the latest news and discoveries at CERN

Hidralia and its foundation, the Aquae Foundation, will be awarding grants to 19 science and technology teachers in both secondary education and vocational training, so they can take part in a high-level training course at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva (Switzerland) from 24 to 29 June. The course has two aims: firstly, to serve as a refresher in theoretical and technical knowledge for the grant holders; and secondly, to provide tools so they can apply this knowledge to the classroom, thus encouraging their students to get interested in a career in science.

Teachers who are interested have until 23 April to register with the programme using this form: https://indico.cern.ch/event/650128/
