Participation and dialogue to promote the fight
against climate change in Andalusia
The Andalusian Network Against Climate Change (REDAC), promoted by Hidralia and managed by the Hidralia + UGR Chair, is an open and participatory space aimed at promoting social awareness on the problem of climate change.
REDAC aims to become a large network, where social, business and institutional agents can participate. It is based on information and dissemination, with the aim of sensitizing society about the problems derived from climate change, promoting actions in terms of mitigation and adaptation.
This Network also aims to become a permanent forum where the member entities can exchange experiences, value projects and collect information on mitigation and adaptation, while promoting the establishment of business, institutional and public-private alliances.
The member entities - already more than a five hundred - commit to help meet the Sustainable Development Goals and the new Urban Agenda 2030, contribute to the communication and knowledge of the future laws on Climate Change, as well as to promote the reduction of greenhouse gases emissions, among other purposes.
